Yes and no. There is a tunnel that leads from the basement of the building down to the service road at the base of the hill. The tunnel has a set of steps and a concrete ramp that lead between the two points.

The tunnel was intended to be used as a service entry point into the building for people and supplies. However, during the height of the tuberculosis crisis, this tunnel was used to transport the dead from the hospital down to the service road below in an attempt to hide this from the others in the hospital.
