You have a multitude of choices when it comes to home inspection companies in the Greater Louisville area. I know that. I also understand that many home inspectors look, feel, and sound alike. ABI Home Services differentiates itself from the rest. I believe that by using the latest technology and equipment, our clients can and will receive a more thorough home inspection. We live, work, and play in a society driven by technology. Many home inspection companies have not kept up with the changing face of the 21st Century. ABI has. Bells and Whistles. That's what most home inspectors call them. I call them necessities.

What makes my inspection different?
Through the use of industry-leading special equipment, ABI Home Services has taken the traditional home inspection and made it...different. Different in that our home inspections take more time in your home, are more thorough, and are superior to our competitors'. Many inspectors boast about having "computer generated reports delivered on site." We agree that clean, professional reports are a must. However, if a home inspection report needs extra attention to get it right, we believe that you, the client, will be willing to wait a few extra hours to make sure it's complete. Most of the time ABI is able to deliver your report the same day, but if we need extra time to double check our notes, we know you'll want us to take it, to make sure that your home inspection report is complete and accurate.

What do you mean, "Special Equipment?"
I can give many, many examples, but one that stands out is our Fluke Thermal Imaging Camera. Thermal imaging allows the inspector to see things like air leaks and moisture damage the other guys can only guess at. Hidden problems can become visible, which saves you money. Take a look at a few of the problems found with thermal imaging during a home inspection.

Here you see a decorative beam that the drywall was not air sealed under it. There is a ton of air leaking in the attic, which will drive up utility cost.

missing insulation

Missing insulation can make a house miserable to live in. Not only does adding the proper amount of insulation cut your energy cost, it makes the home much more comfortable to live in.

By now, you see the difference between us and the other home inspection companies. I invite you to question home inspection companies you have used in the past or are currently using. Ask them what special equipment they will use to do your home inspection. You just might be surprised by what you find.
